CSU’s College of Agricultural Sciences (CAS) Agricultural Experiment Station seeks a field technician to manage long-term dryland cropping systems research sites in Eastern Colorado. The Field Technician will be responsible for site management, including planting, fertilizing, pest control, and harvesting dryland grain and forage crops. The technician will also be responsible for communicating with collaborating producers, ordering supplies, assisting with data collection, recording data and all field activities, maintaining weather stations, and performing other duties as assigned. This position will require extensive travel across the Central Great Plains to field sites, including hauling equipment using university vehicles. The position can be based out of Fort Collins, Colorado, or another location within the region.
